Dermoscopy

Dermoscopy is a specialist tool used to differentiate cancerous moles from benign lesions. It is used worldwide for mole screening and skin cancer diagnosis.

A special polarised light is shone onto the skin which allows Dr.Slater to recognise skin structure and patterns. The distribution of colours and structures enables the recognition of sun damaged, benign and cancerous lesions which can then safely and effectively be treated by Dr.Slater.
